Xoom Xoom ... Zoom?
Articles like this one have been popping up to deliver the news that the Motorola Xoom must be upgraded in order to reach so-called 4G speeds (but see this post on why "4G" isn't really 4G). That's a little surprising, since the Xoom specifically differentiates itself from competitors like the iPad b/c it has "built it 4G."
The kicker? To update the device users will need to part with it for about 10 days. In other words, if Apple was worried about its announcement of the iPad2 next week being overshadowed by the Xoom then ... wait, who am I kidding? Apple was never worried.
Ed. Note - Hey Motorola, way to set the bar for tablet devices, then fail to clear it.
